Levis Launches blur-Inspired Band Tee Collection Celebrating Iconic British Band’s Legacy

Levis has teamed up with one of Britains most influential bands, blur, for a new limited-edition band tee collection that honors the groups enduring cultural impact.

Launching April 10, the Levis x blur Band Tee Collection features three shirts inspired by blurs iconic logo and one of their most beloved album covers.

Formed in 1989, blur helped shape the sound of 1990s British pop music with a genre-defying blend of wit, energy, and musical innovation. Over the past three decades, Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James, and Dave Rowntree have released a string of critically acclaimed albums, including five U.K. number ones. Tracks like “Song 2,” “Parklife,” and “Girls & Boys” have become staples for generations of listeners around the globe.

“Levis has always been rooted in music,” said Leo Gamboa, Senior Director of Global Collaborations & Customization Design at Levis. “We wanted to bring back the vibe of your favorite blur band tee — authentic, timeless, and made with quality that lasts for years to come.”

The new collection nods to blurs 90s heyday with a modern spin. A white tee features the bands classic blue logo, while a black version highlights it in red. A third shirt, printed on a sea blue background, showcases the cover art from “The Great Escape,” which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2025. All shirts include retro-style woven neck labels for added authenticity.

The collaboration is part of a larger Levis artist tee initiative, which has recently included tributes to other legendary acts like Sonic Youth, Joy Division, New Order, and Oasis. The blur collection, produced in collaboration with WMX, Warner Music Groups merchandise and fan experiences division, is now available on Levi.com, the Levis App, and in select Levis stores worldwide.
