Authorities in Florida say a man named Cocaine allegedly assaulted employees at a Subway restaurant over their “bad attitudes.”

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office said Edward Cocaine and a friend went to a Subway restaurant for lunch over the weekend when Cocaine allegedly got into an argument with employees over their “bad attitudes.”

Cocaine allegedly became “so irate” that he went behind the counter and pushed one employee before he picked up a knife and “gestured as if he was going to injure them,” the sheriff’s office said.

Cocaine’s friend “made the great decision” to intervene and try to restrain Cocaine. The friend convinced him to leave the restaurant before anyone got hurt.

Investigators were able to identify Cocaine and his friend, and contacted them for questioning. Cocaine allegedly acknowledged it was him in the surveillance video and admitted that brandishing a knife “crossed the line,” the sheriff’s office said.

Cocaine was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault, burglary with assault or battery, and battery.

“So what have we learned here folks…first and foremost dont mess around in Brevard County unless you are ready to spend the night in jail with a few new friends and while eating a less than subpar lunch,” the sheriff’s office said.
