Actor Nicolas Cage’s former partner Christina Fulton was severely beaten by their troubled son, and sources say she’s now begging the star to help.

Fulton, 57, issued the desperate plea to Cage, 61, after their 34-year-old son, Weston Coppola Cage, was sentenced to a pre-trial mental health program — rather than prison — in connection with the vicious April 28, 2024, beatdown.

As previously reported, Fulton had rushed to Weston’s apartment after alarmed pals told her he had set the place ablaze in a rage.

When she arrived, the Girl with the Hungry Eyes actress said a “furious” Weston grabbed her by the hair, dragged her into an elevator and began “crushing” and “suffocating” her.

“He shoved his thumb in my eye sockets,” Fulton told a Los Angeles judge. “The pain was excruciating. My vision went black. I was losing consciousness.”

She was only saved by a friend of Weston’s who “risked his life” to pull him off his defenseless mother. Still, she was left with a concussion and PTSD from the brutal attack.

Weston was hit with felony assault with a deadly weapon charge, but a Nevada Judge ruled that he was “suffering a breakdown at the time” and should be placed in a two-year mental health program rather than prison.

Cage and Fulton began dating in 1988 and split two years later, shortly after Weston’s birth. She later sued the Oscar winner for $13 million over his allegedly broken promise to allow her and Weston to keep the Hollywood home he bought for them.

The case was settled in June 2011.

In February of this year, Fulton again sued Cage – who’s worth a reported $25 million — alleging he enabled Weston’s aggressive behavior by drinking with him, failing to get him psychiatric help and repeatedly bailing him out of jail after legal run-ins.

Weston has reportedly been busted for DUI and hit-and-run in 2017, and domestic violence in 2011 after a dispute with his ex-wife Nikki Williams.

Sources say Fulton blames Cage for taking little to no role in dealing with Weston’s frightening mental health issues and is “begging” him to more involved and supportive. Meanwhile, Cage’s attorney calls Fulton’s civil allegations “absurd” and “frivolous.”

“Christina just wants Nic’s help,” says a source. “She’s convinced that part Weston’s problem is that he hasn’t had proper guidance from his father.”
